1. What Bloom is

Bloom is an iOS app that helps you record and organize your personal finances — transactions, accounts, cards, budgets, savings goals, and recurring commitments. It runs on your device, with optional private iCloud sync between your own devices. There is no Bloom server; there is no Bloom account.

2. What Bloom is not

Bloom is not financial advice, tax advice, investment advice, or a substitute for a licensed advisor. Any suggestions, insights, or "advisor" narrations inside the app are informational summaries of numbers you entered — not recommendations. Use your own judgment for real financial decisions.

3. Your data is your responsibility

• You keep the only copy that matters — on your device, and (if enabled) in your iCloud.
• Bloom has no server-side backup and cannot restore data you delete.
• Use the built-in Export all data feature (Settings → Data) to keep a portable copy.
• If you factory-reset your device, sign out of iCloud, or uninstall the app, your local data may be lost. iCloud copies remain under your Apple ID's control.

4. Acceptable use

Use Bloom for your own personal-finance tracking. Don't:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source, unless the applicable law permits it.
• Redistribute or resell the app or paid features.
• Use Bloom to store or process anyone else's personal data without their permission.
• Use Bloom in a way that violates Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

5. Third-party services

Bloom relies on a few Apple platform services and third-party frameworks:

• iCloud / CloudKit — for optional cross-device sync of your data (governed by Apple's terms).
• FinanceKit — for optional read of your Apple Card / Cash / Savings activity on-device.
• Shortcuts — for optional Apple Pay auto-logging via automations you build.
• Vision — for on-device text recognition in receipt scans.
• Local Authentication — for Face ID / passcode app-lock.

Your use of these services is also governed by Apple's terms.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Bloom is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that Bloom will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate. Automatic categorization, projections, and advisor summaries are best-effort — check the numbers before acting on them.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Bloom is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of Bloom — including lost data, lost profits, or missed financial opportunities.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of Bloom after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

9. Termination

You can stop using Bloom at any time by uninstalling the app. Since there's no Bloom account, there is nothing to close — just remove the app and (if desired) turn off iCloud sync for Bloom in iOS Settings.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes should first be raised by contacting the address below.
